**1. **JOB PURPOSE**

This position is focused on maximizing revenue by turning every call received into an order. This includes continuous communication and follow-up with all customers. The position is vested with the full accountability and responsibility of the internal sales function including correct administration and processing of orders whilst ensuring excellent customer service

The secondary function of this position is to provide support to all external sales resources within the area.

**5. **JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Job is responsible for the following:

**Responsibilities**

Revenue generation

1. Handle incoming sales calls and re-direct when necessary.

2. Follow up on all enquiries received.

3. Allocate new customers or opportunities to reps

4. Turn calls received and made into orders.

5. Ensure maintenance of contact database and follow ups.

6. Manage COD hires & pro-forma invoices were necessary

7. Follow all internal sales procedures

8. Outbound calling

Customer satisfaction and retention

1. Resolve all queries with customers. (Where not possible due to segregation of duties, then ensure ownership transfer of query)

2. Take full responsibility for rental from beginning to end.

3. Ensure that all the relevant information is obtained and inputted correctly into Eazit from the customers to ensure accuracy for the full rental, I,e, order numbers, period of rental, weekends, etc

4. Issue Credit Apps and Terms & Conditions to all new customers

5. Vet all returned Credit Apps from customer and ensure all relevant information has been supplied, before handing to Debtors

6. Manage and Improve net Promoter Score (CSI) in the sales department

7. Ensure consistent pricing

Order management

1. Manage all customer order numbers on active rental orders

2. Manage all off hires i.t.o. Reference numbers and EaziT updates

3. Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to within department.

4. Proforma checking

5. Update and ensure customer specific documentary requirements for orders

External sales team support

1. Full internal support for all external sales staff

2. Ensure proper interaction with External sales rep and assist where required to ensure customer relation and revenue is maximized

3. Assist external sales staff with rental and products.

Other

1. Management reporting as required
