Carrying out the normal duties and functions, which occur within a professional Laboratory Service.

**These duties and functions include:

- **
- Collecting of blood specimen and delivery of reports in an appropriate time
- Ensuring that blood samples are transported timeously and safely
- Call on doctors as per instruction from the manager/ supervisor
- Report to manager with any problems with clients
- Comply with minimum standards of efficiency and accuracy, in order to meet company standards
- Follow delivery/pickup instructions from manager
- Complete and maintain an accurate logbook
- Inspect the bike for any defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips; and report any concerns to the manager
- Report on all accidents and incidents involving drivers or company equipment
- Adhere to the road traffic rules and regulations as per the National Road Traffic Act
- Create effective and efficient relationships with internal and external customers to improve operating efficiencies
- Ensure professional behavior when dealing with clients

**Essential Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 3 years’ experience in courier services
- A valid South African drivers license
- Excellent communication skills
- A good knowledge of the designated geographical area
- Excellent customer service skills
- Honest and reliable
- Laboratory experience (Advantage)
