Utilities & Tariff Specialist

Enbaya Prepaid Meters (Pty) Ltd established in 2003, is focused on the development and delivery of prepayment solutions in the Sub-Meter Market for Electricity, Water & Gas Meters.

We are looking for a **Utilities & Tariff Specialist** who will:

- Understand customer billings
- Analyse charges, refunds, etc.
- Identify issues with the billings and provide explanations
- Problem solving
- Providing solutions
- Handle all customer queries related to utilities and prepayment of electricity and water
- Drive knowledge transfer with our customers in assisting them to understand their bills
- Coordinate between own and other departments
- Assist customers to understand their billings

**The following knowledge and skills are a non negotiable requirement for this position**:

- Understanding of: electricity and water billing, tariffs, etc.
- Excellent English written and verbal communications
- High level of numerical accuracy and detail orientation
- High computer proficiency (e.g. advanced excel, worked with specialized software)
- Customer-oriented with a minimum of 3 years customers experience in utilities (dealing with utilities at real estate companies, metering department/s, etc.)
- Ability to be patient and convey information effectively
- Outgoing person with a passion for helping people
- Highly result orientated with a focus on customer satisfaction with optimal turnaround times
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Relationship building skills both external & internal
- Ability to explain and guide customer over the phone on software systems
- Ability to understand and reconcile utility accounts
- Able to work overtime occasionally, if required
- Able to work on a stand-by basis as needed

**Advantages**:

**Hybrid Remote Working as per company requirements.**

**Technology requirements for remote work**:
You are required to have your own equipment (computer, data, WIFI etc. ) to be able to work remotely. The company does not provide this, nor does the company pay for data or connectivity.

**Minimum technology requirements are**:

- Quad core or I5 (from 5th gen)
- 8 GIGs of memory
- Preferably a video card with min 2GB of memory
- Headset and microphone with noise cancellation.
- Webcam that supports 720p
- Standard keyboard and mouse
- 19" monitor
- At least a 20MB download and 10MB upload reliable internet connection
- YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT
- YOUR OWN WIFI AND DATA - not paid for by the company
