**The Company**

Our client operates on a large-scale copper and cobalt deposits, both open pit and underground, with high-grade mineral reserves. Metals production is conducted using up-to-date metallurgical processing. They are one of the world’s largest diversified natural resource companies, producing and marketing over 90 commodities worldwide. The company’s operations include copper, zinc, nickel, cobalt, and precious metals mining.

**The Role**

As a Senior SAP MM Support Specialist you will be responsible for SAP operation live sites, Governance Process Monitoring and SLA Monitoring.
In addition, implementation, and process improvements in key areas of SAP Inventory Management and Warehouse Management modules.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Implementation of monthly MM Change Requests.
- Resolution of Cherwell Service Now MM tickets.
- Provide timely support to SAP related queries from the Global Business Process owner and SME’s.
- Weekly engagement with Global Business Process Owners on MM related matters and identifying opportunities.
- Provide support to upgrade/rollout implementation Projects, Regression Testing and Defect Resolution.
- Ensure that MM Documentation are is updated (SBB, BPP, Functional Specifications).
- Ensure MDO requests are processed for sites
- Project tracking and reporting on deviations.
- Project risk and issues management.
- Logistics and planning coordination.
- Provide second and third level support in SAP S/4 MM area - Procurement, Inventory Management and Radio Frequency Processes.
- Functionality testing: knowledge of, and ability to use, testing methodologies, processes and tools, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing
- Involved in on-going SAP global rollout
- Provide Level 3 support to site Super Users and End Users as required.
- Ensure MM documentation is kept up to date.
- Maintain SAP copper documentation and templates and provide to template owners.
- Provide support to Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Weekly calls with site SMEs and Global BPOs.

**The Requirements**:

- University Degree
- SAP certification
- Post graduate qualifications TBA in line with NQF levels
- 8 years of MM experience plus at least 3 full cycle implementations and 1 S/4 HANA full cycle implementation.
- Strong functional/ technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain
- Project Management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels
