CrossBoundary Energy (CBE) is recruiting an Asset Manager to lead the financial and contractual processes associated with renewable energy assets. This requires an experienced Asset Manager who has preferably worked on large infrastructure projects, had exposure to project and contract management, analysis and interpretation of data, stakeholder engagement, financial reporting, payment and invoice control, revenue collection and governance. Interest, passion and experience in the renewable energy or similar industry will be beneficial.

**About Us**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Managing all CBE Asset Management accounting operations including payment and invoice control, revenue collection, budgeting, billing, cost accounting, and reporting.
- Liaising and working together with the CBE Finance Team.
- Managing and overseeing the provision of information to external auditors when needed.
- Implement and oversee a strong internal control environment across all Asset Management entities.
- Manage invoicing and collections for all operating assets.
- Managing tax compliance and audit for operational assets
- Support preparation of budgets and forecasts for all Asset Management entities.
- Managing Asset Management financial component in quarterly and annual investor reporting processes.
- Managing the preparation of deadline-driven reporting.
- Preparing, maintaining, and analyzing contracts to ensure financial and general compliance.
- Automating and documenting processes as needed.
- Providing training and guidance to new and existing team members.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Maintaining and overseeing the renewals on operating assets insurance.
- Take ownership of Asset Management financial process and be main contact point for related information and collaboration with internal and external entities.
- Management of dealings with investors and lenders.

**Qualifications**
- Strong quantitative skills.
- Ability to interpret, edit and maintain contracts (with support from wider team).
- Ability to edit / interpret financial models for a wide range of structures and scenarios.
- Ability to build strong relationships with partners and colleagues in challenging environments.
- Ability to design and implement financial management and reporting functions for a new established entity (process, team, systems, etc.).
- Experience working across multiple African jurisdictions is preferred.
- Self-starter who is passionate about creating lasting change in frontier markets.
- Comfort with ambiguity; ability to operate effectively in a changing context.
- Willingness to work and live in a sometimes-challenging environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field.
- CPA/CA or its equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working in asset management
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills - experience using Deltek Costpoint would be beneficial.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience in managing Project insurances and leading insurance claim processes would be beneficial.
- Applied understanding of commercial aspects of complex renewable power projects, O&M Contracts and PPA structures.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

**Location**
