ROLE PURPOSE
The main focus area of this role will be to support the Manager: Digital Marketing with Social Media customer service, assist with the implementation of new ideas, tracking and optimising the Scheme’s digital marketing requirements across all digital channels.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Support the Manager: Digital marketing with the customer servicing on Social/Digital channels and familiarise oneself with social tools utilised by the Scheme. This includes digital channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and microsites.
- Understand marketing strategies, and social media trends/requirements
- Familiarise oneself with campaigns and product knowledge to ensure service related queries are responded to effectively
- Capable of interpreting social analytics - including the analysis of the Scheme’s social reports.
- Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels (which will require weekend work)
- Capable of creating written content bites for social media posts
- Identify trends and insights, and suggest ideas to enhance the brands presence
- Together with the Manager : Digital Marketing you will be required to occasionally collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Support the Manager : Digital Marketing with admin, event planning and finalising reports
- Have a creative approach to social media customer service, writing, proof-reading, editing.
- Influence the company culture to create a best company to work for by driving and delivering a continuous vision, mission and values campaign.
- Keep abreast of new social media sites, technologies, and digital marketing trends; and support the Manager: Digital Marketing to implement these new technologies on social/digital platforms.
- Interact with customers on Social Media platforms ensuring that that the needs of the customer are prioritized, customer satisfaction standards are met and operational performance metrics are achieved
- Support the adaptation and/or creation of new and existing content into digital for new as well as remarketing campaigns.
- Deliver a brand consistent look and feel throughout all web properties ensuring that web content adheres to content strategy, messaging, tone and style.
- Use insights from past events/webinars to create and implement new ideas to drive engagement and improve visitor interactions.
- Create feedback surveys and monitor feedback to ensure the Digital Team is continually improving.

EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the digital marketing and/or communications environment of 6-8 years
- Experience in integrated marketing and communications campaigns and programs of 5 years or more
- Healthcare Industry Experience (Advantageous)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12/ Matric
- B Com Marketing degree (Digital Specialisation)
- Bachelor of Arts in Marketing & Communications
- B Soc Science Digital Marketing
- BTech Digital Marketing
