**We are seeking a Registered ICU Qualified Nurse & a Registered Theatre Nurse for permanent vacancies based in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:
***
- **Relevant Degree / Diploma in Nurse with proof of SANC / APC**
***:

- **5+ years nursing experience in ICU and ICU qualified for ICU role**
***:

- **5+ years nursing experience in Theatre for Theatre role**
***:

- **Strong interpersonal skills and willing to work flexi-hours system and call system**
***

***

**The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:
***
- **Provide basic & specialized nursing care as well as administering of medication**
***:

- **Motivating acuity to the case management and notify doctors of any limitations**
***:

- **Provide training and development**
***:

- **Ensure ICU team works according to scope of practice**
***:

- **Effective cost management - stock management and control / manage staff leave hours**
***:

- **Maintain safe / holistic patient environment and enforce infection control**
***:

- **Complete SHEQ alerts and incident reports**
***:

- **Execute doctors’ requests and prescriptions**
***:

- **Check equipment and instrumentation are in working condition daily**
***:

- **Educate / supervise staff and doctors on correct utilisation of equipment and instrumentation**
***:

- **Effective record keeping**
***
