Technical Marketer - Potchefstroom - North West

Our client in the Agriculture industry is looking for an experienced Technical Marketer in Potchefstroom and surrounding areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for seed products in the Potchefstroom and surrounding areas
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Generate leads and qualify prospects
- Close sales and negotiate contracts
- Track and report on sales performance
- Prepare weekly reports on activities and sales
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with the planning and execution of trials of new and existing seed products
- Collect data and report on the results of trials
- Provide technical advice to farmers on the use of seed products

**Additional Duties**:

- Maintain a safe work environment by complying with health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Report any hazards identified and actions taken
- Perform any other reasonable task as requested

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification/experience in seed sales
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with customers
- Good administrative skills/computer literacy
- Valid driver's license and willing to travel
- Must be punctual, responsible, and self-motivated
- Willingness to travel and work weekends/overtime during peak hours
