Parking Warden

**The main purpose**: Responsible for assisting in managing the traffic in and out, and around the CTICC (Parking Areas)

**Reporting to the**: Parking & Logistics Manager

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Daily checks of all parking systems in the morning to ensure that the machines are ready for the day
- Assist CTICC visitors to access the CTICC from the parking areas
- Assist at road closures during big Exhibitions and Conferences
- Make sure that all faulty equipment is reported timeously to prevent negative impact to CTICC visitors
- Ensure safety of the vehicles and report suspicious person(s) entering and exiting the car park
- Ensure that the Parking entry booms have enough tickets
- Daily cleaning of parking machines
- Direct clients to the correct assigned parking areas
- Maintain visibility at all times for easy identification and to assist clients timeously
- Continuous monitoring of the parking equipment to make sure they are in working order (Two-way Radio, APS Machines, Entry and Exit Booms)

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric or equivalent
- Grade 10 will be accepted on condition that Grade 12 is obtained within 2 years of employment
- Parking experience
- Hospitality industry background would be advantageous

**The position is based on an hourly paid salary structure.
**Must be able to work abnormal hours (weekends and public holidays).**
