**Furniture Retail Experience

**Minimum Requirements**
- Sales and Marketing diploma / degree (ideal)
- At least 4 years’ experience in Key Accounts sales (furniture manufactiring or Furniture retail)
- Sound Furniture retail experience (non negotiable)
- At least 3 years in customer retention
- Experienced with several systems (Syspro, etc.)

Full understanding of product development and production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work

- Analytic skills (information processing)
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Microsoft Office word and excel (intermediate to advanced)
- Systems monitoring for sales stats
- Ability to show resilience and a flexible approach
- Ability to build effective relationships with existing and prospective customers within the independent market
- Competent in problem solving (problem analysis), team building, planning and decision making
- Accurate and up-to-date record keeping
- Valid driver’s license and a minimum of 3 years driving experience

**The successful incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to**:

- Assist senior management team in achieving growth, hitting sales targets, and designing and implementing strategic sales plans that expands the Company’s customer base and ensures its strong market presence.
- Research and gather appropriate information on target markets to qualified leads and plan and execute an effective sales approach upon Senior Management confirmation
- Ensure that call cycles are being adhered to as directed by Senior Management within your assigned region
- Represent the Company at different designer/ furniture tradeshows
- Conduct sales trips in specific market to personally contact qualified clients
- Maintain a well-informed working knowledge of all product ranges, production workflow, warrantee and guarantee etc.
- Provide product knowledge training to customers as and when required
- Generate sales reports including all booking reports and other daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting as directed.
- Responsible for timely follow up and on-going sales relationships with qualified clients to ensure ROI of attended shows/events
- Manages support staff including monitoring of assignments, productivity and overall well-being
- Controlling Spiv Reports - to key customers
- Rebates - renegotiating FY rebates with Key customers
- Price Lists - roll out when price increases are due to team & customers
- Actively contribute to team work through participation in staff meetings and by actively supporting colleagues
- Acting responsibly and performing your work in accordance with ethical standards
- Control resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Conduct incident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure
- Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan as advised by your Manager.
- Provide product expertise within team, and respond to operator queries
- Work proactively with support functions to fully define the processes

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R50,000.00 - R70,000.00 per month
