Bookstore Administrator

The Bookstore Administrator serves as the primary business contact for the bookshop customers and is responsible for client satisfaction and order processing. The BAM is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to bookshop customers, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the BAM should build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
Revenue
- Achieve annual targets
- Maintain accounts of all non-key Academic customers
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Delivery of overall growth in terms of total revenue for entire customer base
Operational Effectiveness
- Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
- Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner
- Assist with payment and collections.
- Works closely with management in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of product status in order to inform customers of new editions and stock availability
- Communicates the customers’ needs and represent the customers’ interests to the team.
- Provides regular two-way communication between the customers and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper customer expectations.
- Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the customer.
- Part of GOTC team, providing regular input on all account activity, including status on orders, deliveries, returns and payment of accounts
