**Working hours**: Monday -Friday 07h30 to 17h00 / Saturdays applicable when required / Overtime applicable when required

**Job brief**
- We are looking for a skilled / semi-skilled Boilermaker with enthusiasm and interest in machines to join our growing team.
- You’ll find yourself working in various settings for different industrial projects. On a daily basis, you’ll use tools to build and repair various machines and machine parts and equipment for the milling industry, agricultural and related industries.
- You will be in charge of driving operations for a specific job; meeting deadlines and completing tasks to meet our company’s quality standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Build new industrial and agricultural machinery and equipment
- Repair broken or defective machine parts
- Align sprockets, pulleys and couplings
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Disassemble machine parts when transporting or repairing them, and reassemble the parts
- Visit sites to assess potential problems or needs
- Comply to all relevant safety standards / codes
- Identify all unsafe conditions and bring under attention of management

**Requirements and skills**
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role
- Excellent MIG, TIG and ARC welding skills on various metals (must)
- Cutting, grinding and gas cutting skills (must)
- Accurate measuring and planning skills (must)
- Hands-on experience with engineering equipment and machinery
- Availability to travel regularly to different sites
- Strong communication and computational skills
- An eye for detail
- Team spirit
- Certification as a Boilermaker (if qualified) based on national standards
- Acting as a team supervisor
- Complete job card
- Valid drivers licence and own transportation
