**Role Purpose**

The Internal Communications Specialist will work with various internal stakeholders across the business including the CEO, Executive Teams, Product teams and HR. They will lead on the improvement and development of a range of internal communication channels, including the implementation, regular use and championing of an internal communications platform, ensuring it is fully embedded into daily working life and it provides an effective two-way flow of information with employees. He/she will have responsibility for developing an engaged internal community of employees, promoting the adoption of sharing and social collaboration, which will enable employees to connect to and access information more easily, share knowledge and experience, and feel more engaged in what is going on across the group.

**Role Description**

1 - Internal Comms planning and budget management:
Own and lead the internal communications strategy, working closely with HR and the organizational development plan.Contribute to driving forward our ambitious plans to transform the function of communications supporting colleagues to maximise internal channels to engage people with our work and empower them to use the brand effectively. Develop and manage a budget to support internal comms activities. Work with various heads of departments to develop new ideas and innovative strategies to increase awareness of internal comms initiatives. Empower colleagues to put internal audiences first and think creatively about how to reach them, and frame messages and use creative design to achieve our strategic goals. Plan and execute key communications on behalf of GCEO (webinars and written).Responsible for managing the development of our internal communications channels and platforms. Develop, manage and maintain the Intranet.Develop new ideas for internal staff competitions.

2 - Internal Comms execution

Play a key role in shaping organizational development, supporting, and advising colleagues to plan and deliver top notch internal communications. Ensure brand consistency across all communications. Develop, monitor and manage all internal communications channels and platforms. Create content and key communications on behalf of GCEO (webinars and written).Work across the organisation to ensure our mission, vision and brand values run through everything we do, empowering colleagues to communicate and share knowledge effectively to increase the impact of everything we do.Manage day to day internal corporate communications, advising and supporting internal and external stakeholders including corporate partners to use our tools effectively.

3 - Engagement and reporting

Ensure that priority projects, particularly change management, are given adequate resource.Organise and implement internal staff campaigns.Organise and implement internal staff competitions. Develop and create copywriting, graphics and presentations for all internal content. Manage and deliver communication and internal promotion of all internal webinars. Review and create physical content for offices (posters, flyers, etc.).Manage the Intranet content.

4 - Stakeholder management

Monitor engagement to all published content. Report on content engagement and review how to improve effectiveness.Measure, analyse and report on brand Return on Investment (ROI) and make recommendation to increase the impact of internal campaigns.

Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation including senior leadership and the staff forum and when required.Work with key internal stakeholders to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.

4+ year Comprehensive in your internal communications knowledge and experience: Essential

Marketing, Branding and Communication experience in the business marketing space within the ICT and or Telecommunications Industry: Desirable

2+ year Experienced in communicating to a broad and dispersed audience: Essential

2+ years Knowledgeable in a broad range of internal communications channels and how they create a mix: Essential

2+ years Experienced in designing, deploying, and measuring organisation-wide internal communications campaigns:Essential

2+ year Experience of creating content for digital platforms including banners, video and audio: Essential

2+ years Strategy development and implementation for communication planning: Essential

2+ years Project and relationship management with internal stakeholders: Desirable

2+ years' Experience of CRM and Sharepoint systems: Essential
