**GRANT WRITER - LADLES OF LOVE NPO**

**Full Time - Cape Town office based**

LOCAL AND FAST-GROWING NGO, LADLES OF LOVE is looking for a Grant Writer to join our team and lead our efforts in securing funding to help our organization operate throughout the year.

**Grant Writer responsibilities include**:

- Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders
- Displaying adherence to the organization’s mission
- Maintaining proficient knowledge of the organization’s history and programs
- Providing meticulous attention to detail in the submission of supporting documentation and statutory information.
- Assist with the devising and execution of the fundraising strategy
- Identify and prospect grant funding opportunities
- Furnish prospective funders with supporting documentation
- Grow our donor base and secure and manage data in Salesforce with CRM team
- Report into Head of Business Development
- Work closely with the Founder and CEO to compile annual report and overviews.
- Provide copy for newsletters and fundraising or sponsorship brochures

**Grant Writer requirements and skills**
- Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or similar role
- Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals
- Great with MS Office Word, Excel and Google
- Able to create and prepare professional PowerPoint /Canva proposals
- Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources
- Work well both individually and in a team
- Exceptional organisational and data management skills
- Target and outcome based driven
- Outstanding communication and writing skills
- Relevant education to support role
- Have a thirst for continuously learning in the NPO fundraising space

This is a salaried position and remuneration to be discussed in interview.
