Crop Advisor

**Wellington/Paarl Area - Western Cape**: Our client is looking for a Crop Advisor to join the team.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- BSc Agric or similar qualification with more than 5 years relevant experience
- Both BASOS and AVCASA
- course will be an asset
- Valid driver’s license

**SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
- In depth knowledge regarding the sales of Agricultural Chemicals and Fertilizer products.
- Provide technical services and knowledge to producers
- Computer literacy with basic skills in MS Office software programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Facilitation, report writing, and presentation skills will count in the applicant’s favour
- The incumbent must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
- The ideal would be that the person is able to prove his creditworthiness among producers and have a proven record in relation to integrity, results and service.
- A positive attitude in the interaction with people at all levels must be able to be portrayed. Absolute confidentiality, where and when in question, is required.
- Due to the nature of the position, the incumbent will be expected to work on his own initiative and ensure an acceptable level of productivity and time management.
