We propagate and sell over 250 varieties of trees, shrubs, and perennials, and offer a full range of soft and hard landscaping for both commercial and residential clients. We also install irrigation and water backup systems._

Based in Honeydew, Johannesburg - Windy Willows seeks to appoint a

**LANDSCAPING SUPERVISOR**

The Landscaping Supervisor will be responsible for managing relationships with clients to ensure they are well serviced and satisfied and for liasing with the Administration Manager to ensure all contracts and payments are completed correctly. The incumbent will supervise the landscaping teams and sub-contractors to ensure that all landscaping jobs are completed within the specified time-frames and on budget. He/she will ensure all landscaping procedures are followed by the department, including the planning and scheduling of jobs, the delivery of plants and supplies, and the training and support of team members.

The **Landscaping Supervisor **will be responsible for the following duties:

- Manage relationships with clients, develop garden designs, and provide overall project management for implementation.
- Training of landscaping Team Leaders to the point where they are able to manage a site on their own, with a maximum of two hours support per day.
- Training of other landscaping staff to ensure they are familiar with the company operational procedures and are competent in the execution of these procedures.

The **Landscaping Supervisor **must meet the following criteria:

- Degree in Horticulture or Landscape Technology, or equivalent professional landscaping qualification.
- At least five years’ experience in landscape design and implementation, including residential landscaping and hard and soft landscaping.
- Experience in irrigation or water storage system installation essential.
- Excellent project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting in excel.
- Proven supervisory and training skills.
- Strong customer service skills and plant knowledge.
- Familiarity with Realtime Landscape Architecture or other digital landscaping design tool.
- Drivers license and own car essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Experience**:

- landscape design and implementation: 5 years (preferred)
