**Overview**:
This role requires industry-specific insights, strategic vision, leadership, and technical expertise, as well as a thorough understanding of the AgTech landscape and regional differences.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agtech, Agriculture, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

**Advantageous Requirements**:

- MBA / MBL or related post graduate business management degree

**Experience**:

- At least 12 years of experience in the Agtech, agribusiness industry or related technology-based industry sectors.
- At least 12 years of experience in the global Agtech industry or related technology-based industries, including 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong track-record of innovation, strategic planning and execution in the Agtech industry.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing strategies and business plan
- Expert knowledge on various agtech solutions including but not limited to precision agriculture, data analytics and automation.
- Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement management
- Strong leadership experience, with experience managing global teams and regional relationships.
- Experience in governance, risk and compliance management

**Duties**:
Develop and execute a global AgTech strategy to ensure customers have the best technologies and solutions to meet their needs, while ensuring the growth and profitability of the organization.
Work with the different regional heads of agriculture to identify opportunities for improvement in innovation, technology, systems, and processes.
Build and manage a global hub of AgTech experts to drive a consistent agenda, global knowledge transfer, and shared learnings.
Drive best practice of product portfolio management globally, ensuring a structured approach to global R&D, design, and engineering activities.
Ensure compliance with data regulation, security and privacy requirements globally.
Identify and evaluate new technologies, products or partners to continuously innovate our global AgTech solutions and services.
Communicate digital strategy globally, ensuring understanding and alignment at all levels of the organization.
Leverage external relationships and partnerships to drive business growth and enhanced customer value.
