**Overview**:
**Core Deliverables**:
Planning and scheduling daily and weekly maintenance activities

Supervise Maintenance Artisans

Stepladder inspection

Fire suppression register

Developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems

Lifting equipment appointments

Monthly reporting

Ensuring compliance to all legal safety procedures and processes as prescribed to minimize risks

**Qualifications**:
Grade 12

Artisan (Trade Tested)

2 Years demonstrated plant related Mechanical or Electrical experience

**Experience**:
5 Years demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Foreman

3 Years demonstrated maintenance experience in a Production or explosive’s environment

**Duties**:
**Job Knowledge**:
Extensive knowledge in the maintenance of centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps (Progressive cavity, gear pumps) would be an advantage

Electrical ability

Trouble shooting (Fault finding)

Extensive knowledge in the maintenance of VFD’s general plant switchgear, process machinery including pumps, compressors and boilers

Knowledge of PLC’s and field instrumentation

Knowledge of the SANS 10142 electrical regulations

Proficiency in MS office

Knowledge of ERP systems
