Automotive Machinist

**_NB: Please note that we are NOT looking for the following: Fitter & Turner; Turner Machinist; Milling Machinist._**

**OUR CLIENT**

Our client is in the public passenger transport sector in the provinces of Gauteng, Limpopo, and the Western parts of Mpumalanga in South Africa.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- The ideal applicant will possess the following: -_
- Trade Test Certificate - Tested by an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years working experience as an Automotive Machinist.

**JOB OUTPUTS**
- Perform various machinist activities at the automotive section in the factory.
- Re-bore, Line-bore, Crankshaft grinding, Recondition of Cylinder Heads and Connecting Rods.
- Participate in the implementation of the Production Management Systems in the factory. ( ISO 9001 )
- Complete all job related admin, i.e. Control Sheets, Job cards, Stores Requisitions, Quality Control Sheets etc.

- Good knowledge of tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards
- Knowledge of the OHS Act
- Knowledge of ISO9001
- Knowledge of an industrial workshop environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work on horizontal boring mill, lathe and milling machine
- Have good work ethics.

Remuneration

Medical Aid and Provident Fund are included in package over and above basic salary

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
