A luxurious 5* Boutique Hotel is looking for a Night Guard to join their spectacular team to ensure the safety of a building or business by helping monitor it overnight.

**DUTIES**
- Coordinating security measures with other security guards on duty at the time, such as switching watch duties with another guard every few hours to ensure that everyone gets adequate rest
- Monitoring security cameras and recording systems for any abnormalities or suspicious activity
- Providing security services at construction sites during non-business hours
- Monitoring intruder alarm systems for signs of intrusion by unauthorized persons
- Patrolling the grounds at night to check for signs of suspicious activity such as broken windows or doors, graffiti, or litter
- Responding to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or violent behavior
- Observing employees to ensure they are following security protocols such as locking doors at closing time or reporting suspicious activity to security personnel
- Performing routine security checks on key areas such as entrances and exits to the facility to ensure they are secure
- Reporting incidents of theft, vandalism, or other unusual activity to supervisors

**REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS**
- Senior Certificate
- Front-line Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Training for an approved 'licence-linked' qualification
- Patience
- Problem-solving skills
- Physical fitness
