You will be responsible for leading the DevOps team to create and implement best practices, optimise processes and workflows, and drive innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Your key **job** responsibilities as the **DevOps Director** in **Cape Town** will include:

- Build and lead a high-performing DevOps team to deliver exceptional products and services
- Develop and implement DevOps processes and workflows to optimize product delivery
- Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to ensure product quality and reliability
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery
- Ensure high levels of uptime and availability for all systems and services
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential technical issues and risks
- Provide guidance and leadership in implementing DevOps best practices and tools
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and iGaming industries

Requirements for this **DevOps Director** **job** in **Cape Town**:

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of successful leadership
- Strong background in iGaming and online gaming technologies
- Experience with automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Bash)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for innovation and delivering high-quality products and services
