**POSITION TYPE**:Full Time

**Purpose of Position**:

- To perform routine and stat analyses of samples and maintain analysers / instruments in a Clinical Laboratory

**Requirements**:

- BSc Medical Sciences Degree
- 2 years working experience within a pathology environment (Advantage)
- Understanding of pathology test procedures.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Quality Control
- Basic knowledge of MS Windows
- Basic knowledge of Excel
- Basic knowledge of MS Word
- Computer skills
- Communication skills
- Numerical reasoning skills

**Advantageous**:

- Knowledge of the Computer System
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of Flowpath’s safety; health and environment management policy
- Training skills

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support within laboratory in order to ensure the efficient flow of specimens and timeous resulting of specimen
- Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory
- Train laboratory staff in order to ensure continuous development and education
- Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Flowpath
- Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens
