Yeastar Pabx Technician

Yeastar PABX Technician required for Durban based company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation: Installing Yeastar PABX systems at customer locations, ensuring proper cabling, power supply, and network connectivity. This may involve configuring extensions, trunks, and other system components.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks on Yeastar PABX systems, such as software upgrades, system backups, and database management. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical problems with Yeastar PABX systems. This may involve analyzing system logs, conducting tests, and collaborating with customers or other technicians to identify and resolve issues.
- Customer Support: Providing technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site. Assisting with user training and addressing customer inquiries or concerns regarding the Yeastar PABX system.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of system configurations, modifications, and troubleshooting steps. Documenting customer interactions, including support tickets and resolutions provided.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with other technicians, engineers, and departments within the organization to ensure seamless integration of the Yeastar PABX system with other communication technologies, such as VoIP, SIP, or analog connections.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Yeastar PABX Technician
- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in PABX systems and related technologies. Keeping abreast of Yeastar product updates and attending training sessions to enhance technical knowledge
- Relevant industry qualification will be advantageous
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- High standard of accuracy & proficiency
- Timeous handing and completion of work and maintain mínimal repeat call rate
- Must be able to handle stress within a highly pressurised environment
- Must be able to work overtime and be on standby when required
- Ability to travel
