We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Project Manager** to lead and coordinate enterprise-wide projects, with a specific focus on **SAP implementations** in **Johannesburg (Hybrid).**

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning and Strategy**:

- Develop detailed project plans that specify goals, strategies, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Align project objectives with the broader business strategy, ensuring that the project contributes to overall organizational goals.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring project continuity and success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

**Project Direction and Coordination**:

- Direct and coordinate all activities related to the project, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor project progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that project milestones are met and that the final deliverables meet the required quality standards.

**Staffing and Resource Allocation**:

- Determine the staffing needs for the project and collaborate with HR and other departments to assemble the necessary team.
- Allocate available resources effectively, ensuring that all project activities are adequately supported.
- Manage and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

**Risk Management and Contingency Planning**:

- Identify potential risks that could impact the project, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Establish contingency plans to address any unexpected challenges or changes in project scope.
- Regularly review and update risk management and contingency plans to ensure they remain effective throughout the project lifecycle.

**Project Communication and Reporting**:

- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas of concern.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

**SAP Implementation Expertise**:

- Lead the implementation of SAP systems, with a focus on SAP ECC or SAP FI modules.
- Ensure that SAP implementation aligns with the organization's business processes and meets all technical requirements.
- Manage the integration of SAP systems with existing business systems, ensuring seamless operation and mínimal disruption.
- Provide guidance and support to the project team and stakeholders on SAP best practices and implementation strategies.

Qualifications:

- Essential Qualification: Degree or Honours.
- Preferred Qualification: Honours or Masters (General Degree).
- Registrations: PMP, Prince, or any recognized Agile affiliation (A plus).

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of leading enterprise-wide projects.
- Proven experience managing SAP implementations, particularly SAP ECC or SAP FI modules.
- Extensive experience in project planning, risk management, and resource allocation.

**Technical Proficiency**:

- Strong understanding of SAP systems, particularly SAP ECC and SAP FI modules.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
