Turner (Alberton)

**PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION**
Responsible for manufacturing of metal components needed in the manufacturing of valves or for the repair thereof. Measure each large and small component to ensure they will fit together properly in the final design. Identify potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before the production process.

- Lathe Operator
- Grade +10
- Trade

**COMMUNICATION PROCESS**:

- Can communicate work requirements with fellow workers
- Can communicate upwards to Production Foreman and service departments like SHEQ department
- This position can’t negotiate with suppliers or customers

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Working experience on different types of Lathes.
