Our client a large Engineering Concern in Cape Town is on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team soonest

Location: Paarden Eiland, Cape Town**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Install and align machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members on projects

**Requirements**:

- High school, diploma, or equivalent
- Completion of a mechanical fitter apprenticeship program is preferred / Trade Certificate
- Proven experience as a mechanical fitter in an engineering or industrial environment
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good communication and teamwork skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R30 000,00 - R37 000,00 per month
