Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to join the Camperdown, Pietermaritzburg team,
- Ensure that a daily maintenance plan is put into place
- Ensure that equipment and tools are kept in good working order,
- Ensure that all breakdowns and materials used in the breakdowns are recorded,
- Ensure that all breakdowns are attended to as soon as they are reported,
- Conduct routine checks in the plant,
- Control the cost of consumables and maintenance,
- Ensure that a monthly stock take is conducted,
- Ensure that all modifications to the plant and any repairs that are outsourced are supported by accurate drawings and specs with every project.
- Ensure all staff reporting to you are aware of their responsibilities and duties.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Trade Tested Fitter ‘
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience,
- Supervisory experience essential
- Must be able to weld and do some rigging,
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems,
- Proficient in MS Office,
- Valid drivers and forklift license,
