Food Tech Intern

The Quality Intern will be responsible for conducting micro-biological tests on all products manufactured. Ensuring that results are communicated and corrected. Complying with company standards and procedures.

They will also work with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes, and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented to maintain product quality and records traceability; and will also assist to ensure nonconforming product is appropriately identified and removed from the production flow until such product can be dispositioned.

Calibration and verification of equipment
- Good laboratory practices
- Accurate measurement
- Sterilization of media
- Pour plates
- Microbiology analysis of the Final product.
- Environmental monitoring
- Recording Keeping
- Product quality inspection, report of non-conformances and trouble shooting
- Chemical analysis of finished goods

**Minimum requirements**
- Grade 12 is non-negotiable.
- Bachelor of Applied science in food science and Technology.
- Work well independently.

- Middelburg, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
