The client, a gender based related company seeks to appoint a Senior Operations Manager who will manage the establishment of operational systems,monthly programme reports, and initiatives of the key components of the Company.

The core functional areas are as follows:

- Set up governance system and ensure adherence to compliance rules,

Oversee Risk register and implementation of Risk Mitigation strategies across the organisation, Ensure alignment between Annual Performance Plan and Strategy

Compile Annual Report

Co-ordination between the Plenary decision making and Management.

Oversee Resolution Register and track the implement

Support the department with setting up reporting system and portfolio of evidence.

Co-ordinate documentation for Parliamentary appearance

Produce reports for the office of the CEO and from all stakeholder engagement meetings and other programs.

The incumbent needs to ensure that departments are in compliance with policies and best practices, and that they are in direct support of the overall goals and objectives of the institution. Collaborates directly with Management senior leadership on the development of strategies to enhance the value and cost effectiveness of all outcomes within the functional area of operation and participates in overall decision making as a member of the senior management team of the enterprise.

**Minimum Job Requirements**:
Bachelors degree and Post graduate Qualifications, ; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Comprehensive applied knowledge and expertise, gained at a professional level, in all aspects of the area of focus applicable to the specified role.

Ability to demonstrate achievement of results e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation or sourcing funds for the institution.

Strong skills in writing, editing and proofreading professional reports for the institution in support of the office of the CEO,

**Skills, Knowledge and competencies**:

- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
- Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of computerized business and operating systems.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare detailed reports for the office of the CEO.
- Knowledge and understanding of integrated program planning, development, and administration within a public institution environment.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
- Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan and oversee strategic, operational, and administrative programs, and services of broad significance to the organization within the designated functional area of focus.
- Establishes and implements short
- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures within the specified functional area of focus.
- Coordinate Performance Management agreement and assessments AOPs and APPs for all managers and departments reporting to the office of the CEO.
- Review all submissions, reports, documents and contracts for any discrepancies that need to be rectified prior to submitting to the office of the CEO.
- May be required to manage and review the companys contracts for discrepancies and change requirements, understanding the responsibility to manage the legalities with the CGE stakeholders.
- To coordinate and provide professional consultation to all management and staff as the principal point expert on all matters relating to the specified functional area of focus.
- Manage and/or provides day-to-day leadership to various technical, professional, and/or administrative personnel engaged in specified programs activities, as appropriate to the position.
