Laboratory Analyst

**WHAT IS ON OFFER**

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Analyst to join the team in Rustenburg on a **12 months Fixed Term Contract**. This individual will be responsible for providing the day-to-day production support to the Rustenburg Laboratory in order to meet the overall objectives of analytical services within Alfred H Knight South Africa and for the production of results to a high degree of precision and accuracy and ensuring that an effective and high quality analytical service is provided.

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES**

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

**Required Competencies**
- Ability to present information both written and verbally.
- Strong attention to detail and quality management skill.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team (Team player).
- Good timekeeping and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of ISO17025 requirements.
- Good knowledge and understanding of ICP-OES and classical wet chemistry.
- Basic knowledge of analytical method development and validation knowledge.
- Honest, Sober Habits, Adaptable and Flexibility.
- No criminal record.

**Required Qualifications**
- Grade 12 (With Maths & Science).
- Analytical Chemistry Diploma.

**Required work experience**
- Minimum 2 years of Analytical Laboratory experience.
