Social Media Coordinator

We are an established restaurant group, consisting out of 3 diverse brands, looking for a proactive, energetic, and experienced individual to manage our social media channels.

Tasks will include the writing and creation of content, community management, ad-placement and reporting.
- Planning, creating and publishing of various content types (Facebook posts, Instagram posts, TikTok, tweets, blog posts, in the form of images, GIFs, videos, slideshows, quizzes etc.)
- Community management (responding to comments and relaying feedback)
- Planning, creating and publishing ads on social platforms
- Running of competitions on social platforms
- Managing a monthly budget for ads and boosted posts
- Managing listings on TripAdvisor, Zomato, and other review platforms
- Assisting with the CTFM newsletter
- Using measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and recommend ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
- Keeping abreast of local and international social media trends and tools
- Developing a thorough understanding of the restaurant business and building relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Reporting to the Marketing Manager on a regular basis to keep them updated and informed on the day to day operations and progress of work
- Customer care line
- Degree or diploma in journalism, communications, marketing, or advertising
- At least 2 years of experience in social media/community management and/or content strategy
- Strong command of the English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Should be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of each social network and best practices
- A creative thinker, with the ability to use both data and intuition to make decisions
- Self-starting and proactive with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail
- Digital or social media courses
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, MailChimp
- Photography or video editing skills
- Experience in the food and hospitality industry
