CaseWare Financial Statements Consultant

Responsible for assisting clients with drafting financial statements for submission to their auditors.

Minimum qualifications:
Studying towards a degree / diploma in accounting

Desired qualifications

BCom (Finance, Accounts or Management) / BCom Hons

Minimum experience:
Has drafted annual financial statement using CaseWare Working Papers in the last 12 months.

Desired experience:
Has used CaseWare for a minimum of 3 years and within the last year 2 years. Completed

SAIPA / SAICA articles

**Reporting**
- Reporting to the Financial Statement Automation Manage 1. Financial Statements Preparation
- Import Trial Balances’ into CaseWare
- Map Trial Balances’
- Create relevant lead schedules
- Insert new content (tables, text, sub-sections)
- Balance - Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Cash Flows
- Draft and Balance Consolidated Annual Financial Statements

**Builder mode - basic**
- Basic Design Mode - Basic

**Reporting and project management**
- Capture time and expenses timeously
- Weekly status updates to all stakeholders
- Meet deadlines
- Ensure all drafted sets can roll forward and are modifiable
- Meets the basic Quality Assurance Checks
- Efficiency in completing all required tasks and processes to ensure that monthly revenue can be achieved.
- Ensure that time is utilized efficiently and effectively to derive value both internally and externally to the satisfaction of management.
- Meet revenue target
- Accurate, timely reporting & cost containment
- Increased profitability
- Ability to win Clients
- Networks within the client business to develop trust and knowledge of the business

Technical competencies:

- Excellent skills on the Microsoft Office Suite
- Has in-depth experience and knowledge of CaseView and CaseWare Working papers
- Past achievements which include Improving systems or operations
- Financial Statement Reporting
- IFRS knowledge
- IT and Software Knowledge

**Job Type**: Temporary

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month
