**Purpose**:

- Main purpose will be the maintenance of items produced or services by the company.
- Qualifications and Experience:

- Matric
- N3 Electrical with hydraulic experience.
- 3 years’ experience as Field Service Technician.
- Experience in underground mining TM3 Industry equipment will be advantageous.
- Experience in electrical and hydraulic.
- Knowledge of Deutz diesel engines.
- Valid driver’s licence.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain service and report on all site capital equipment both on surface and underground as per the maintenance site requirements.
- Render technical assistance on all machinery as required by your site supervisors.
- Quality servicing of site capital equipment to ensure the promised / agreed availability.
- Monitoring and reporting on spares stock levels by written report to ensure that the correct costs are booked against the service job.
- Complete daily and weekly audit reports for all machines audited.
- Report any breakdown to the site supervisor not longer than one hour after all attempts have been made to repair the unit and the nature of the repairs required will result in the machine being inoperable for a period of four hours or more.
- Immediately report any abuse / negligence by the operators on any of the machines listing the relevant details to the supervisor in control of the operation and to the site supervisor at the end of the shift.
- Perform any reasonable task as required by your supervisor at any time.
- At all times carry the correct / relevant equipment / tools to do the require site work / services.
