Bartender

This permanent position will suit a mature, competent, innovative, and energetic person with an even temperament and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Description Summary**:
In this position, set an example of top-quality service and provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality drinks (coffees, teas, wines, spirits and soft) to our Villagers and Guests.

**Responsibilities for this position includes but is not limited to**: -**
- Welcome customers and take their orders.
- Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
- Upsell at every opportunity (food and beverage).
- Process and record orders on the POS system (GAAP).
- Daily cash ups.
- Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas; and
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.

**Key Skills / Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer literacy, GAAP experience advantageous.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience required bartending in an upmarket bar, hotel, or restaurant.
- International experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.
- Barista experience.
- Ability to create recipes - cocktails.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diligent, dedication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- A willingness and passion to serve.
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments.
- Ability to work long hours, day, and night, including weekends and public holidays; and
- A clear criminal record
