company in the wine industry is urgently seeking an experienced logistics coordinator.

responsibilities

the logistics coordinator will be responsible for:

- manage bookings and scheduling of on-site bottling line.
- stock management and control. arranging and monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods. (reception of wine and dry goods)
- organizing the handling and processing of the wine.
- product quality control on on-site processes.
- monthly sars and sawis declarations.
- health and safety training and control on-site.
- arranging temporary staff when needed.

requirements
- must be fluent in english and afrikaans.
- must be able to work independently in a responsible manner and as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients and following verbal and written instructions.
- must have sound organizational skills to manage personnel.
- general cellar hygiene and primary wine production knowledge would be advantageous
- you must be able to operate microsoft office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to the industry.
- must ensure that quality assurance checks are completed and maintained.
- must possess a valid driver’s license.
- must have own reliable transport.
- must be able to work flexible hours.
