**E-Commerce Specialist**

**Role description**

**Responsibilities**:
Sales & Promotions
- Strong analytical skills providing analysis and reports on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by shop, region, product, conversion rates, and using data analytic tools to identify areas of improvement.
- Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform.
- Managing and executing promotional campaigns.
- Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment.

Market Trends & Marketing
- Analyse new market trends, business opportunities and market segments in global and local landscapes.
- Work closely with marketing team and agencies to manage and implement digital marketing campaigns across all relevant platforms.

Systems and Platforms
- Evaluate current platforms and encourage innovation.
- Build strong relationships with all platform vendors to improve current Ecommerce offering.
- Troubleshooting technical issues, this includes identifying and resolving and/or logging and escalating technical issues related to the website platform, and third-party integrations.
- Managing website integrations, this includes managing third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, etc.
- Manage and maintain data integrity and accuracy, ensuring that all data sources are properly integrated and reconciled.
- Manage the process of loading and updating products and pricing into the various systems.
- Sort out, redirect and resolve all system issues.

Ecommerce Operations
- Evaluate all current operations and processes - suggest and implement improvements.
- Develop SOP’s detailing all processes.
- Manage Shopify apps and work in partnership with our Agency to resolve or implement new solutions as required.

Ecommerce Strategy & Projects
- Implement Ecommerce strategies and projects as per 3-year plan and expand.

Stock Management related activities - Stock availability & Overstocks
- Manage the loading of stock and pulling of stock reports.
- Working closely with Ecommerce administrators and warehousing teams to ensure correct stock holding for Ecommerce to ensure smooth order fulfilment and no out of stocks.

Customer Service
- Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments, managing returns and exchanges, and ensuring that customer support is available when needed.

Financials
- Own Ecommerce P&L in partnership with finance.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual achievement of the Ecommerce Revenue budget.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- A tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in ecommerce, marketing, information technology or relevant related fields.

Experience
- 2-4 years Ecommerce experience. Developing and implementing Ecommerce site from start to finish will be advantageous.
- Shopify (experience a must have).
- Knowledge of 2Ships & Courier solutions will be advantageous.
- Experience with SAGE (Parity), Payment platforms/gateways.
- Computer literacy - Microsoft essential (Excel, Power point and Word).
- An understanding of SEO (Search engine optimization).
- Management skills (team of 3 Ecommerce administrators).

**Salary**: R550,000.00 - R680,000.00 per year
