**Saica** Trainee**

**Purpose**

To perform audit related duties, being a team player and fantastic student in an audit environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Conducting field work is completed as planned, in accordance with policies and procedures and within budget
- Participating in audit planning meetings and budgeting
- Conduct full audit file execution and planning and related reports to ensure the relevant files are ready for sign off
- Perform tax return calculations
- Planning and prioritising work allocation received from manager
- Conducting audit planning audit planning
- Completing time sheets
- Provide insight on technical matters and helping other trainees in achieving their goals
- Maintain excellent client/ fellow trainee relationships

**Requirements**:

- Completed CTA/ in the process of completing CTA
- Own vehicle and valid drivers license
- Able to read write and communicate in Afrikaans
- A thorough knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, ISA, and taxation
- Strong administrative skills
- Project management skills
- Taking initiative/being pro-active
- Being a team player
