**Job Title**:Temporary Receptionist

**Duration**: 3-4 Weeks
**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and direct visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct calls using a switchboard in a professional manner.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
- Provide general office support to staff and management as required
- Ensure security procedures are followed for building access and visitors
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working with a switchboard is required
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organised.
- Proficiency in basic office software
- Friendly, Approachable and customer service-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks.
**Experience & Knowledge**
- Experience with a multi-line switchboard system
- Knowledge of office equipment (e.g. Printers)
- Previous experience in a corporate or professional office setting.
**Qualifications**
Matric or Equivalent
