Horticulturalist

**Salary**: R 14,000 to R 22,000 dependent on experience and proven track record

**Requirements**:

- A mínimal of 5 years’ experience in prior ornamental plant production at a recognised nursery
- Self-motivated and ability to pay attention to detail
- Energetic and friendly persona happy to work outdoors in a team environment
- Knowledge of working pumps and machinery
- Knowledge and understanding of different growing medium formulations
- Proven record of experience in the propagation of named plants in seed, cutting and plugs
- Ability to do production forecasting and planning, good administration skills and discipline
- Manage a team of workers efficiently and effectively at a capacity of 15 people
- Experience and knowledge in conducting disciplinary hearing
- Must reside locally, Somerset West, Stellenbosch
- Have own reliable transport to work and back
- Be Honest, reliable, of good health and sober habits
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability and willingness to assistant with customers and suppliers
- Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:45 to 5:00

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R22,000.00 per month

- Stellenbosch, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
