Franchise Manager

My Client, an interational Quick Service Restaurant group, is currently seeking a young and dynamic **FRANCHISE MANAGER to join the GAUTENG region.**
You will be accountable and responsable for a group of franchise stores within the Gauteng region, reporting to the Senior Franchise Manager.
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Manage and report on business drivers: operations, finance, marketing and people within the region
- Audit, evaluate and measure store performance to provide actionable feedback to the Senior Operations Manager and the Management team at the stores
- Coach, train and develop store teams within the region
- Ensure Brand standards are implemented, executed and maintained within the stores
- Conduct regular environmental scans of competitor activities (price, product, layouts and promotions) and socio-economic factors so that appropriate changes/action can be taken where applicable within the region
- Ensure that the region, areas and stores are informed on appropriate product/menu mix based on its specific customer profiles and customer trends.
- Analyses the business and provides suggestions for improvements to ensure profitability and an increase in customer count
- Collaborate with the Project team in recommending new store locations in order to ensure a footprint expansion.
- Ensure that stores comply with the Brand's Local Store Marketing Initiatives
- Assistance with new store openings within the region
**REQUIREMENTS**
- National Senior Certificate
- Business Development Diploma (preferred)
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Proficient in point of sale back office reporting tools (GAAP/MICROS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of South African labour laws
- Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety laws
- Valid Driver's licence and own reliable vehicle is an inheritent requirement for this role
**EXPERIENCE**
- **Minimum of three years' experience in a multi unit operational role as a franchise area/regional manager with a QSR Brand overseeing more than stores within a geographical region.**:
- 5 years experience as a Senior Fast Food Manager
- 5 years experience in food cost control, management of controlable and non-controlable expenses
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with Franchisees and Service providers
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop store teams to meet Brand standards and talent pipeline
- Experience in new store development and build
- The FM must be willing to travel long distances to visit stores within this vast region.
**RENUMERATION AND BENEFITS**
This is a permanent role, with an initial three month probation period served
Salary R30 000.00 (neg)
