Screen Operator

**Minimum Qualification/ Experience**:

- Minimum Grade 10, but Grade 12 will be advantageous.
- Be literate & functionally numerate.
- Must have good communication skills.
- 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role/ environment.
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team and in a high-pressure environment.
- Pre-employment medical required.
- Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure for the basic maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the plant.
- Operate the plant according to its desired capacity and specifications.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on the plant, while ensuring that the product is produced according to the right quality specifications.
- Work safely, while always maintaining a clean and neat working environment.
- Report any maintenance related problems and production related issues to the immediate superior.
- Adhere to Quality Assurance responsibility during the production process by constantly monitoring and evaluating that a computerised maintenance strategy is employed to ensure absolute reliability and minimum down time.
- Acknowledge that Management may allocate additional tasks when tasks cannot be completed on a standard allocated job.
- Carry out instructions given by superior.
- Be willing to work overtime as and when required.
