Forklift Operator

Job Overview: To safely and efficiently move raw material, finished products, and other goods as per Operational Requirements e.g. within and between different locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Move raw materials, packaging and finished products efficiently.
- Ensure that correct pallets are used, stacked, wrapped and labelled.
- Pick, pack and scan products according to Picking and Staging Procedures.
- Practice the correct stock rotation methods and report the Stock Movement Progress to the next shift.
- Use forklift cages when supporting employees to reach high places.
- Identify health and safety hazards and implement corrective and preventative measures.
- Prevent damages to products, pallets, floors, walls, etc. when operating the forklift.
- Adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.
- Any other reasonable duties which are related or directly impact the designated area of responsibility.

**Requirements**:

- National Senior Certificate (NQF4) or equivalent
- Valid Forklift License (Counter-Balanced Lift Truck)
- Valid Driver’s License (Code EC) would be beneficial
- 2 years’ proven work experience as a Forklift Operator
- Proven work experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems

Pay: R10 000,00 - R11 200,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Klerksdorp, North West: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift Driving: 2 years (required)
- Warehouse or Manufacturing: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Forklift License (required)
