**JOB PURPOSE**

To provide specialist expertise in the design and end-to-end execution of IT change and release management strategies, policies, protocols and governance framework, and coordinating planning, scheduling, testing and deployment of IT changes in a structured and controlled manner to minimise risks and maintain the overall stability of the Group’s IT architecture at all times.

**JOB OBJECTIVES**
- Coordinate the design, approval, deployment, and documentation of change release plans and schedules including management of RFCs to closure.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board meetings to review and approve proposed changes.
- Document IT change and release outcomes.
- Ensure changes and releases do not compromise information security principles by working closely with the IT security team and coordinating testing efforts with the testing team.
- Handling emergency changes and releases and coordinate activities to minimise disruptions to IT services and maintain service continuity.
- Utilise and manage tools and software for change and release management, recommending improvements as needed.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess change and release success and gather feedback for future improvements.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, communicate deployment schedules, and provide updates to manage expectations.
- Coordinate with vendors and third parties to ensure their services align with IT change requirements.
- Communicate deployment schedules and provide updates to manage stakeholder expectations about upcoming and current release changes and their potential impact
- Maintain detailed documentation on IT change and release measures and incidents and prepare reports for management and key stakeholders consideration of decision making.

**Minimum requirements**

**QUALIFICATION**:

- Degree in Information Technology/Systems Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent qualification or diploma.
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation Certification.
- Relevant certification in Change and Release Management will be an added advantage.

**JOB-RELATED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- 3-4 years (Degree) or 4-5 years (Diploma) experience in the IT environment or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT change management, administration and delivery principles.
- Understanding of change management related legislation in the industry.
- Understanding of general IT concepts and IT Security principles.
