Maintenance Technician

Company that is contracted to a Pharmaceutical Company requires the services of a maintenance Technician/ Millwright and you will report to the senior Maintenance Manager and Production Manager

This company is based in Chloorkop, Kempton Park

The company manufactures Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Toiletries and Hard Soap Bars.

Duties & Responsibilities Duties:

- Plant maintenance and repair
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic breakdowns
- Training on machines and settings to maintain quality
- Project planning and involvement
- Good relations and discipline in accordance with company policy - Be part of managing daily labour with duties

Engineering:

- Electro/Mechanical Maintenance & Repairs
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Maintenance & Repairs
- Maintain and repair building and yard where necessary
- Preventive maintenance

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience and knowledge related to repairs of plant equipment and tools - N3 / Millwright
- Knowledge and experience of equipment used in the manufacture of Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Toiletries and Hard Soap Bars will be an advantage.
- Must have light motor vehicle license
- Must be fluent in English
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel

**Personal Attributes**
- Must be fit as the facility is 9000 square meters with multiple factories on a property of 16000 square meters
- Must be able to work under pressure and to specified deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a team environment

**Salary**: R17 000,00 - R19 000,00 per month
