**Project**

A commissioning crew for a FNLG vessel working offshore Western Africa.

**Job Summary**:
The Rigger Foreman will supervise the Riggers and oversee all rigging and lifting activities on the FLNG vessel. They will work closely with other commissioning teams to ensure safe and efficient handling of equipment and materials.

**Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership:

- Lead, manage, and provide guidance to a team of riggers, assigning tasks, prioritizing work, and allocating resources effectively. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and professionalism among team members.

Rigging Planning and Execution:

- Analyze load characteristics, project requirements, and site conditions to determine optimal rigging methods, equipment, and techniques. Oversee rigging setup, load preparation, and securing for lifting, moving, or transportation.

Lifting and Moving Operations:

- Supervise and coordinate lifting operations using cranes, hoists, winches, and other lifting equipment. Ensure proper attachment and securement of rigging equipment to loads and lifting apparatus.

Safety and Compliance:

- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with rigging and lifting regulations. Conduct safety briefings, hazard assessments, and monitor safe work practices.

Communication and Coordination:

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, equipment operators, and other trades to plan and execute rigging activities. Communicate effectively with team members, equipment operators, and signal persons during rigging operations.

Inspection and Maintenance:

- Oversee the inspection and maintenance of rigging equipment and hardware to ensure they are in proper working condition. Arrange for maintenance, repair, or replacement of rigging gear as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of rigging operations, load specifications, safety measures, and equipment inspections. Generate progress reports, safety reports, and other documentation required by project management.

Training and Development:

- Identify training needs within the team and provide training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance technical skills and safety awareness. Promote professional growth and skill development among team members.

Problem Solving:
Address challenges and unexpected situations during rigging operations, making quick and informed decisions to ensure safe and successful outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant certification in rigging or lifting operations.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Rigger, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and organizational skills.

**Essential Requirements**
- Previous offshore experience
- Experience working on a project (commisioning/construstion/hookup)
- Need to be comfortable working offshore for 2-3 months
- Valid Passport
- Possess the following certifications: BOSIET/FOET, OGUK Medical, Yellow Fever card, Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
