Social Worker

**SOCIAL WORKER**

**INCON HEALTH CLINICS (Pty) Ltd**, an established national organization, specialising in the field of Occupational Health and Safety and related services for 35 years, requires the services of a **Social Worker** in the **Durbanville, Western Cape**

**Starting Date: 01 March 2024**

**Hours of work: 40 hours per week**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Social Work
- Must be registered with a SACSSP
- Knowledge of applicable Legislation
- Drivers’ License - Code 8 is a pre-requisite
- Experience in Employee Assistance will act as an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English, Zulu, Xhosa, Tswana, Sotho
- Knowledge of training and presentation methods
- Competent in the MS Office suite (MS Word and Excel)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Being able to work independently
- Willingness to travel
- Own transport would act as an advantage

**Duties include**
- Counselling
- Managing of your own case load
- Referrals to external service providers
- Report writing
- Networking
- Assessment and developing an intervention plan
- Administration and Planning
- Trauma Debriefings
- Facilitate Training sessions
