Junior Salesperson

Junior Salesperson required within a trade and DIY company. Interpret customer needs, provide technical advice, process and enable sales.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sourcing and growing the customer base
- Welcoming customers and being the first point of contact point
- Taking of orders and facilitating of sales
- Correctly advising customers on product requirements
- Building customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction levels post sale.
- Completing quote administration timeously.
- Marketing of new products including product launches and specials to customers
- Ability to interpret and analyze a building plan.
- Liaising with customers regarding delivery times and after sales process.

**Requirements**:

- Matric Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (Xhosa an advantage).
- Fully computer literate on MS Office, including MS Outlook.
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV Sales/accounting system competency advantageous.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Sales environment.
- Ability to read architectural plans and drawings (construction knowledge).
- Debtors and Stock control knowledge.
- Team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Target and sales driven.
- Strong customer service skills.
