Lifeguard

Job Description:
We are seeking highly skilled and responsible Lifeguards to join our team for the upcoming season. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all individuals in and around the pool and other water facilities **on board the cruise ship**. You will work closely with the pool attendants and other crew members to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor all pool areas and other water facilities on board to ensure safety protocols are being followed
- Provide first aid and emergency care in the event of an accident or injury
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the pool and surrounding areas
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the pool and pool deck
- Communicate effectively with other crew members and passengers to provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Participate in safety drills and trainings as required by the company
- Attend to any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

**Requirements**:

- Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a pool or aquatic environment
- Strong swimming and rescue skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug test

Pay: R30 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
