Our Branded Household Client is currently looking for an amazing Sewing Technician to join their team in Germiston, Roodekop

This is an EE position

Must have a valid license and understanding of stock control etc.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: To repair sewing appliances that are returned to the Service Centre. The technicians maintain appliances at optimal operating levels. The incumbent will be required to diagnose issues, make recommendations for repair or replacement to units and test any new parts that are installed. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: - Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) - Troubleshooting-repair techs must be able to diagnose, repair and test appliance problems as they arise - Willingness to work flexible schedules - To be able to carry stock items - To give attention to detail - To be trustworthy

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Diploma/ Certificate in basic electronics i.e. N1 to N3 - Fluent in English - Computer literate - Ability to perform accurate repair of customer product - Must complete all technician training elements within required timeframes - Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on sewing appliances - Maintaining Company and industry standards - Adhere to time constraints - Analyse electrical circuit diagrams and test circuits to identify any short-circuit - Test assigned equipment and appliances to ensure its proper functioning - Coordinate with service centre and end users and provide general product maintenance and support - Ensure productivity targets are met and all reparation work is as per high quality - Assure adherence to Company standards and follow best practices of repair service - Repair appliance properly and maintain minimum disbursal for parts - Meeting key performance metrics and/or productivity goals - Keeps work area clean, neat and to Company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members - Follow the Health and Safety regulations of the Company - Ensure all repairs are completed by the timeline set out by the SOP - Weekly checks are done on all outstanding job cards not collected by customers - Adhere to Company policy and procedures at all times - Weekly grading of all products

CTC: R15000-R17000

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R17,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fourways, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.): 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Diploma/ Certificate in basic electronics i.e. N1 to N3 (preferred)
