**Junior Graphic Designer**

An exciting opportunity exists within our fast paced and growing Digital and e-commerce department and assist in producing high-quality design projects. You will be required to deliver on special tasks for the completion of projects and create unique ideas to improve projects. Reporting to the Senior Digital Brand Manager, company based in the northern suburbs. This position is available immediately.

**Behavioural Competency**
- Must be adept at product photography and be able to work alongside another designer on design concepts and solutions
- Ability to communicate, you will need to feel comfortable enough to contribute to the entire creative process and follow briefs, accordingly, keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends is also key when working on many different projects at once
- Ability to work within a team.

**Duties include the following, but not limited to**:

- Create engaging designs that capture as well as promote the company’s sales online whilst using the latest design trends to communicate this to users, your designs will include but not be limited to social media posts, banners, brochures, illustrations, logos and more
- Understand brand design and able to execute the brand corporate identity
- Producing attractive and effective designs for all media (in-store and online)
- Product photography and retouching for a variety of mediums
- Keep record and filing system of photographs and creative work
- Produce high quality creative output that can be used across the business
- Make sure all design work is on brand
- Design page layouts and editing existing templates
- Collaborating with the team members to launch design projects
- Creating promotional materials for the Sales and Marketing departments
- Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas

**Requirements**:

- 1 - 3 years’ experience in graphic design
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign or higher
- Understand product photography i.e., lighting, and angles
- Understand retouching of photos
- Has a creative flair and an eye for what makes a clever design and layout
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Time management skills, able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, excellent time management skills
- Able to start immediately

**Salary**: R12 500 to R15 000 CTC

**Salary**: R12,500.00 - R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
